So a few of my coworkers and myself have come to the conclusion each barista has a kryptonite there more Likely to mess up on
. One of my coworkers is matcha powder she’ll spill one at least once a month, mine is mango dragonfruits in the last 2 weeks I’ve spilt 5 of them. And another one of my coworker always mixes up the teas to the correct pitchers.
This was mostly for the question what is your guys kryptonite?

mine is getting either chai or frap roast in my eye at least one a month. i have to now look away while i pump them

Heavy cream and I absolutely hate it. I try to shake it because sometimes it just gets clumpy but people cANT CLOSE THE TOPS SO IT ALWAYS SPILLS ON ME

Coconut milk.
Every time i go to shake it, without fail, I end up getting it all over me due to it not being closed properly 🥲

Same with extra hot for whatever reason when it’s extra hot I always spill on my hand on the plus side I’m immune to hot water/substances now

Mine is ice. Everyday. Everyday i drop so So much ice.
Not the typical rush time and dropped a few ice cubes. Like i miss the WHOLE CUP sometimes. By sometimes, I mean way too often 😵💫
Trainer told our green bean today, “Dont worry about dropping some ice cubes! We have the floor fan, and you will never be on due-ear’s level so dont stress”

I can already tell you that for a vast majority of our store it's probably either the dome lids or literally any frappicino.
Idk why but when I'm on bar it's the almond milk. Every time i go to shake it after opening, it gets EVERYWHERE. And when that doesn't happen? The pull tab on the seal will break and I'll need to get a box cutter.
But if I'm on ovens. One word: cheese. I'm not lactose intolerant. It's just a pain in the ass to deal with.

I would genuinely cry if I spilled a Frappuccino, I can not for the life of me open alternative milks or lactose milk it breaks each time I get my coworkers to open them for me now

I feel like this is weird, but when customers order their refreshers blended, I make it in the shaker and then pour the contents into the blender, then I blend it but forget to put the lid on the pitcher. Every time. It goes everywhere. I ONLY do this with blended refreshers! I did it 3 times today lol, but my Frappuccinos were fine. Why does my brain do this.
