at my store there’s a whole variety of people! starbucks is a very lenient company in the sense of allowing any kind of hair colour, one facial piercing, and gauges up to 1 inch. like obviously dress similar to the dress code during your interview and you’ll do great!

Vibrant hair is totally fine! Google "Starbucks dress code look book" and you'll see plenty of great examples. As long as you're approachable and not like, a gutter punk, SB is pretty cool with bright hair, tattoos, and piercings. There are some limitations due to food safety but you won't have to totally change your style to work or interview here. Good luck!!

When I interviewed in January I had pink hair and size 2 or 4 gauges. I wore a semi-nice long sleeve button down shirt and black skinny jeans. I ended up being hired on the spot.

My hair is half pink/half purple now, I still have my gauges in, and I have an arm tattoo that is visible any time I wear short sleeves or roll long ones up. No one has said anything to me about any of those things, plus I have several coworkers with bright hair/piercings/tattoos who haven’t had any issues either.

TLDR: As long as you dress nice-casual and interview well, you should be completely fine! I’m sorry this was so long, but I hope it helps!

I have purple hair and a lip ring lol but I do work at Target Starbucks and take my lip ring out when the manager is around 😅

I had rainbow hair a nose piercing and a load of ear piercings at my interview

my shift supervisor has lips piercings, gauged ears, and fiery red hair. another has dyed blonde hair, tattoos, and facial piercings. i think you’ll be fine! sbux doesn’t really hire a “type”, based on how my interview went, i think they just want someone hardworking and good with busy times and customer service skills
