i’ve tried lemonade with a blonde ristretto shot and it isn’t that bad actually. tastes like an arnold palmer. i wouldn’t go out of my way to order it, but it was a pleasant surprise.

Had a coworker who drank this constantly three years ago. Was vomit inducing then just as it is now.

Former barista here. I used to have a customer that would order a lemonade with a shot of espresso. Ratio may have been better than this making it pleasant. Never bothered trying it though.

Lemonade overseas is actually lemon-lime soda, like Sprite or 7-up.

As a starbucks employee, that shit is some of the dumbest shit, in 2nd place actually (frapps is the first one), the starbucks cooperation ever came up with. They were probably all dopped up in a office room, and one guy was like “let’s do cold brew with lemonade.”, then they all just agreed on it.

overall, no one has ever ordered it, and it’s disgusting.

We all tried it one day and not a single person could even pretend it wasn't disgusting. I could see a little bit of lemon juice maaaaaybe being good in coffee, but DEFINITELY NOT LEMONADE

There have been three times where my night shift crew and I tried this. We tried it with regular iced coffee, cold brew, and a pour over. We all think it’s absolutely horrendous

Once had a partner come through and swore by cold brew and kiwi…we all tried it and I think you can guess at the reactions.

Vomit. Literal vomit. Tried it a while ago when I read it was a popular drink overseas and was horrified. Then saw it actually being marketed and released, made everyone try it and at least 3 people threw up at work. Of course they all claimed their vomit was not as bad as this drink.
