Sooo here we go, I was inspired to share bc of another post. A lady called our store and my manager answered. She asked for us to put aside Impossible sandwiches for her and my manager said she couldn’t do that, so she hung up on her. About an hour and a half later a lady walks into our café and orders Impossible sandwiches and a spinach feta and I immediately knew it was the same lady from the phone call. After she orders and pays and everything, she’s holding a tomato mozz and I’m like “Would you like to buy that as well?” And she says “Isn’t this what I ordered?” She goes on to say she doesn’t want the Spinach Feta bc it has eggs and I’m like okay that’s fine I’ll switch it out. Before I even warm anything up she tells me “I’m just letting you know I NEVER eat out and I’m very picky about how my food is handled.” 🙄 I just say okay and proceed to warm her food. I toss the sandwich in the oven and throw the wrapper away and she FLIPSSSS she’s like “OMG HOW COULD YOU TOUCH THE TRASH WHILE YOURE HANDLING MY FOOD OMG!!!” Mind you, I’m off in 10 mins so I say “I’ll just get a manager for you 🫠” I get my manager and she warms the food and while her food is in the oven, my manager briefly rubs her cheek with her shoulder (hope that makes sense) and the lady goes “THATS SO GROSS THAT YOURE DOING THAT BY MY FOOD!!” So my manager says “I’m using tongs this whole time to handle your food, I can give you a refund if you’d like.” And she takes the food and says she’s calling corporate. If you’re so “grossed out” why still take the food? Like????? 🤦🏻‍♀️
