Doppio and about 1:1 milk w/ foam absolutely no bigger than the side of your pinkie finger (lighter if possible). It's a traditional coffee drink from Spain meant to be strong, but cut down acidity from espressos that actually have acidity xD

Thank you! I've been practicing tulips with lattes but I've really grown to like cortados more as they are stronger with less foam. It's been a little difficult trying to judge how much milk to steam and when to start pouring the design, but I'm getting better :)

Something that might help with getting the bubble out of the milk is to swap the milk out of the pitcher you used to steam to another pitcher, groom again then pour!

Yeah, I've seen baristas do that before along with sprinkling cocoa powder or cinnamon on top after pouring that light amount of milk back into the cup to practice contrast

too bad starbucks doesnt have cortados anymore. they are so fun to make. basically short flat whites with 2% milk instead of whole milk
