No, you can’t cash it out like vacation. It’s forfeited when you quit (CA). If you don’t plan on ever coming back than just call out sick for every shift lol.

Ooh shoot. I already gave in my two weeks but I have some shifts left. I wanna work at least one to say goodbye to people, is there anything else I could do? Or should I just talk to my SM?

No like I said there is nothing really you can do. Your sick pay will just expire.

Tell your manager you want to use X hours of sick pay and write it in the book. You don’t have to actually be sick or miss a day to use it. I’ve done it countless times just to supplement my pay and use up my sick pay bc you never know what can happen (quit/fired/policy change etc.)
