Wanted to share my April 1st. (self.starbucksbaristas)

They had me soloing at DTO all day today. So I had fun my entire shift! Every time a car would roll through I’d come up with something new and greet the guest with things like “hello welcome to Burger King, what can I get for you?” Or “welcome to McDonald’s Badada I’m lovin it”. I had fun with customers and even asked people for more ideas of things to say. I got Taco Bell, Arbys, Wendys. I sang the chilis birthday song to two guests today. Sometimes I loath this job but I made it enjoyable today. I even got an April fools joke pulled on me today too! Someone loved my energy and went to give us a 1 dollar tip then took it back and went “APRIL FOOLS!!!” And dropped us a 20!

It was fun! We’re right across the street from a McDonald’s so some people genuinely thought they had taken a wrong turn!

I do this every time they put me on dto. They get mad at me quite a lot lol.

Hahaha, I’m lucky that my manager enjoyed it as much as the customers did. Though I don’t have the balls to make it a regular thing tho

That’s what I tell them. I often make customers smile and laugh with these things and they can’t see it as a good thing
