Omg yesss. We had a tonnnn of delivery orders, in person orders and mobile but i couldnt catch up on mobile orders cuz every freakin time i tried to, an in store order had like 3 or more drinks in it per order. A ton of drinks with 3 shots or more and of course most of em want blond shots so blond machine was being worrrrked today

Lol i like bar alot cuz time goes by quick and a handful of people have told me in many amazing touching ways that i make the best drinks (lol i kno i dont make the best but thats their words, they just mean that its like reallyy good) ...but the other day i was so overwhelmed on bar that my chest started having this heavy feeling on top of it. I was either having a panic or anxiety attack or i was super stressed cuz ot was nonstop orders

Omg. Yeah my coworker who was on mobile bar was a machine today. They just kept coming through and she powered through them all it was crazy

Lol like sometimes i just wana scream cuz I'll think that i have a good hold on bar and next thing ya kno...an uber eats order of 10 drinks, a cafe order of 4 drinks followed by another order of 2 girls who get venti brown sugar oatmilk shaken espressos and then a hundred mobile orders started spilling thru. I literally wanted to scream. Cuz at that point its like i only have 2 hands and 2 espresso machines. (At my store we usually have 1 person on hot bar which is mostly me and then 1 person on cold bar)

I was solo boxing because we were short staffed as usual and as soon as I started the line was so long it was out of the parking lot soooo yeah and we had a high school band come in. And on top of solo boxing I had to get all my food too. It was ridiculous.

I was on cold bar (frapps) for about 6 hours of my shift. I started at 11AM and ended at 7:30PM. I almost broke down, blacked/passed out, and walked out. Morning crew screwed me and my afternoon crew over (Nothing prepped, half a bucket worth of ice in each bin [3]). I was put on cold bar because I'm apparently the quickest. With the extra coverage in the morning I was expecting prep to be done for when the shift is handed over to me (I'm also an SSV). We had to close lobby and turn mobile/deliveries off for 2 hours and only kept drive thru open. We had 2 customer supports for those 2 hours and we reopened the lobby. We still were not caught but we got prep done but none of the cleaning tasks.
