I've had this happen to me at the window. It was a car full of teenage boys and one behind the driver was recording me. I didn't realize until they were leaving. I felt violated but didn't know what to do.

I literally had this exact same thing happen to me a few years ago! Sorry that happened to you :/ it’s so weird, like what is the reason??? People need to learn boundaries, and to treat customer service workers like they’re actual people with feelings. Ugh.

Same thing happened to me. It was two older women and the passenger snapped my picture almost as soon as they pulled up to the window. I think maybe they were thinking that I was the same person who was taking their order at the speaker and they were going to complain on her. I recognized the driver as one of our usuals. One time she handed me her card and when I went to take it she pulled it away and then she extended her hand again and I thought “oh maybe she didn’t mean to do that” and tried to take it only for her to pull it away again so then I just stare at her in confusion and she makes a gesture at me like she’s expecting something and I’m like “Um, I’m sorry? I don’t?” And she snaps “repeat the total” because apparently she didn’t hear me the first time and doesn’t know how to ask like a normal person. I can’t imagine what the conversation was like that they felt the need to take a picture but I can imagine it was very rude 😂

That’s part of the reason why I’m still wearing my mask!
