It’s just sad (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Greenisthenewblack1
It’s sad that as a supervisor I have to get a second job to make ends meet. I know several other shifts who also have to get second jobs so they can buy groceries for themselves.

* I’m not saying we are above baristas or anything (because I couldn’t survive without my team) but the fact that I literally have keys and codes to a store and I can barely live is mind blowing!!

“we need you to have open availability” “we don’t have enough hours for you”

My availability is literally wide open😒 I keep getting “our labor is coming back in April.” Well I can’t wait any longer👋🏽

Omg do you work at my store?! Our ASM is literally telling a barista who is developing into a Shift that they should lie to their second job so she can schedule them more…and I’m like…but aren’t we limited on hours?????

One of the shifts in my store has talked about how they don't want to unionize because they think Starbucks already gives us enough, but less than 5 minutes after saying so, they went into a rant about not making enough money.
