that exact same thing happened at my store today. the customer ordered two, one with vsccf and one with regular whip. i let him know it would be an upcharge, and he asked what the difference between vsccf and regular whipped cream is. i told him that they’re almost identical but whip is free. he got the cold foam on both anyway and it blew my mind.

Why do people insist on paying $1.25 or watever for glorified whipped cream? I mean on some drinks, ok i get it but on a Frappuccino??

uhhh… cold foam on the bottom and top? weird drink but if they like it then they like it ig.

one time i made a mocha cookie crumble sub whip for sccf and i’m pretty sure it was for this guys kid because he looked at it weird 😭

I’ve seen a bunch of people ask for cold foam instead of whipped cream on drinks, and then be surprised that it’s so expensive — cold foam is $1.25 where I am, and whipped cream is free!

Happens a lot, I don't get it. They loose like 2oz of frap so I have room for the foam, pay $1.25 for sad whip cream which would have been better and free.
