do we know if any of the members of corporate are pro-union as individuals? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I know good ol Howie is very anti-union, but i was just curious if anyone knew whether or not any of the VPs or Reps are either neutral or in support of the unionization effort. Are they all just anti-union as a whole or are some just staying silent in fear of losing their position?

it’d be weird if they were considering all the union-busting. Even the many SMs in my district (5 are unionizing and 2 are close to filing) who were pro-union or even neutral and leaning toward sympathizing with organizing partners have left due to guilty conscience. The ones who’ve stayed are doing the dirty work

If they aren’t helping the movement who the fuck cares

Lmao dude it was just a question. Obv i would prefer if they were actually helping, but i was curious if there were any folks who may be on the fence about it that could be swayed. I thought I saw a corporate sbux person out and about and recognized them and wanted to ask if anyone knew anything.

Saw your comment on my other post by the way so i can only assume you are just scrolling through my profile and saw my art and thought it would've been cool to comment your "lack of care" about it!!

I think you should probably go outside for a second. Maybe go for a walk in nature, if that's accessible to you! Take a break from the internet if scrolling through my profile and picking fights with strangers online is the only thing that you have going on right now. Go drink some water, get a snack, and chill out.

EDIT: added more clarification to the first section.

I can guarantee there's a few members of corporate who would like to encourage it but know that they can't exactly do that, so they flock with the rest of corporate.

They're people too, I'm sure there's a few of them that are pro union. Just they can't be vocal about it because they know that the company doesn't stand for it and wouldn't want to risk their job. Can't blame them.
