Bahaha sorry I’m a former partner! I just didn’t have the best time toward the end of my 3 years…but it was during the pandemic and we had no manager a lot of the time (had 2 fired and 1 asm demoted while I worked there). I made priceless memories and lifelong friendships with some of the people I had the pleasure of working with, and I’m treated like a queen every time I visit my old store. The company has just changed a lot and most of us preferred how things used to be. Just make sure you follow rules, try your best, listen with care, ask lots of questions, and take initiative when you can. If you treat it like a career, it can certainly become one. Have fun and above everything, just be a kind, helpful person to your customers and coworkers. Take genuine interest in your customers and you’ll make some friends for life. A teensy bit of effort and kindness can really go a long way, and always try to keep a good attitude. It is after all, just coffee!! 💖 ps: it helped me a TON to do just a little bit of research online about espresso and espresso drinks in general. Like what makes an americano an americano and what makes a latte a latte, etc. When you understand the “why’s” and “how’s” of things, it’s so much easier to learn the recipes quickly! Best of luck 💚
