question about taking home free drinks (self.starbucksbaristas)

is there anything preventing me from taking home a free "drink" that's mostly just a concentrate of syrups for me to take home at the end of my shift? i love making an iced latte with chai, brown sugar, and dark caramel, and i only work 3-4 days a week, which means i can't have it everyday at work. i was thinking about making myself an iced chai latte that's mostly syrups so i can use it to make more drinks at home.
also, not sure if it makes a difference, but i'm mostly a closer.

i mean. it might be like “frowned upon” but i’d still do it. i like to bake and rang out like. 15 scoops of vanilla bean powder with my drink once for a recipe. if it’s something they’d sell (and clearly they’re okay selling drinks that are 90% syrup judging by the stickers i see) they should be fine with partners doing it to.

You could always ring the drink up as-Venti Iced Chai, 50 pumps chai, 50 pumps brown sugar, no ice- or whatever fills the cup. You would technically still be marking out what you took.

I'd go this route, you can mix it into multiple drinks. Just refrigerate the chai when you get home and it lasts longer.

I really don't mind, but please be careful doing this. Partner markouts are intended for partner consumption, it's why only one beverage and food item can be marked out per transaction.
(We've had people get in trouble for marking multiple drinks out to give to other people 😑).

I only work 3 days a week and they took away our free drinks on our days off, and I have an infant ☠️

Technically it’s supposed to be 1 markout 30 min before and 30 min after and as many as you want on shift but you have to finish the ur drink before you get another…. You can get ur drink with a bunch of syrup but be aware SMS can see mark outs.

Technically no, however don’t do it in you shift leads vision. Also tazo chai tastes sorta like our chai but not the same.
