Different parts of MD range from 16.50 to 19.00 or so.

what county are u in? i’m in baltimore county, trying to see how much i’ll get paid if hired
Affectionate_Fart1 points1y ago
The COL is so different across MD. I’d just flat out ask them. Besides, you’re not hired yet.

In California they start at 19 or 19.50 I believe

This comment hurt bc at a licensed store in CA I make $16 as a shift 🥲
5AV1OR3 points1y ago
Rip I’m sorry no one deserves that pay for that kinda job
b99__throwaway1 points1y ago
$19.69 actually, but that could just be my specific CA market

In most of Texas the starting wage for shifts will be the company-wide minimum of $15.24. It's higher in cities with high costs of living; I don't know if that applies to any cities in Texas.
Starbucks has announced an increase in summer of this year to a $15 minimum for baristas and $19 for shifts, but there's no date yet.

Austin SSVs make 17.78 starting pay

Definitely varies. I’m in CA and I make $22.xx. I also got the 5% raise this past jan. still not enough though 🥲 It’s usually about $4-$5 more than barista pay. (At least in my area)

eyveggg2 points1y ago
