Has every store gotten rid of their covid check in station? (self.starbucksbaristas)

We no longer take our temperatures and sign in, and a shift has to read the covid questions to us. But they don't always get everyone. We've had multiple callouts this week and the ones calling out sick have still been coming in the next day. And they're actually sick. And of course, most aren't wearing masks.

Stores were told to get rid of it and store thermometers for future use.

Okay this seems as good as place as any for this—I’m confused what the new policy is?? Someone told me temp check isn’t required anymore but people still have to do the sheet and I’m just like ???? Idk how that makes sense?

If you actually read the new sheets they are different. And the pre-check is still in place just no temping. Basically covid/food borne illnesses mean no work for you.

same. we have to check in on paper + do the covid check on the ipad at my store but no temp. like what’s the point? everyone at my store gets sick if you even look at them wrong (except me, apparently). i’m tired of working with sick ppl, regardless if it’s covid, cold whatever.

here’s the new policy:
-no temp checks
-if you have symptoms, get tested
-you only have to isolate IF YOU HAVE A POSITIVE TEST
-when coming back from isolation, YOU MUST WEAR A MASK FOR 10 DAYS FROM ISOLATION
-if you are experiencing symptoms and are untested, YOU MUST WEAR A MASK

No temp, but you do need to sign off that you don’t have COVID symptoms. It’s back to normal food safety sick policy. Anything big - fever w/ sore throat, vomiting, or diarrhea, etc - puts you out until 24 after symptoms have cleared. Something like a headache means you are back as soon as you feel okay.

They required medical masks last month, and now no masks and no temp checks 🙄
