Thank you, I actually take a little bit of pride in it because I know how much stress my shifts have and I don’t want to let them down. It makes me feel guilty on the rare occasion that I’m not on CS though lol

I used to be terrible at CS and now I’m usually always CS bc I kill it. My tip is to imagine you are on bar. What would you need in this moment? Some urgent easy things to start with are changing sani, restocking cups and lids, then move on to milks. Imagine you are on any planted position. What would you need to seamlessly do your job? You are the glue that holds things together, and if you’re doing it right they won’t ever have to ask for anything and will probs forget you are even there. It’s the most important and thankless position. It’s like hospital triage, or like you are the puppeteer anticipating needs and making life easier for the planted baristas. Best advice I can give is step outside of yourself and fill in the missing pieces

For me I think it’s having my hands covered in sani water for 5-6 hours at a time that makes it dry. Mostly I’m just annoyed with the amount of cuts covering my knuckles and fingers from scrubbing the kegs and the rest of the sharp things

Oh yeah. Those things get extra crusty but tbh the worst thing is putting those suckers back on

Man I know how hot it gets standing in front of the ovens all day. My store is understaffed enough that I am covering front register, warming, and CS duties most of the time. Hope you have a good day and that your shift moves you to something else!
