Make up your mind as to whether or not you want to work. You need to either accept that she’s giving you your requested hours during the time of week when your not in school so your work doesn’t interfere with your studies, or hand in your 2-weeks notice so you can continue to attend school and still have your social life.

i’ve thought about it but i don’t want to quit and have to go through the rehiring process when i go to college. it’s just something i’ve had on my mind

I mean, your SM gave you more hours than you requested (most people would be thrilled), you understandably requested to have less hours so you can focus on your studies. She obliged and cut you down to four and none. You complained and she gave you your original requested hours during the time of the week that would least inconvenience your studies, and you’re complaining.

It very much seems like you don’t want to work, and that’s fine, you’re in high school, you should be able to enjoy your youth before living on your own. But I will say this: remember that other people at your store rely on their hours—hours that your SM is giving to you and therefore not them—for their rent, food, etc…if you actually wanted/needed to work, you wouldn’t be complaining about getting too many hours/working your requested hours when you’re least inconvenienced.

I would contact your district manager. You've made it clear to your manager when you're available and you even gone as far as changing it in the system and you're still getting scheduled against your availability. It shouldn't come down to just sucking it up or quitting. High schoolers work at Starbucks specifically for the flexibility in scheduling and it sounds like you are just not being heard by your SM.

Why don't you change your availability to meet your needs. Chose one day on the weekend to be available and like 3 weekdays.

i honestly have and like i still get scheduled. i changed it to not work sunday and i still work sunday so :/

if you change your availability on the app then your sm cannot schedule you through the scheduling system. if they’re still able to do so something is wrong and you need to check in with her again.
