- teenagers making fun of me with their friends about the name being mispronounced and teenagers laughing at me like a joke when i take their order or hand them their drink

When people ask for regular size I directly tell them "I am giving you a medium" so if they whine about size when receiving it I can say "this is what you ordered." 🤷♀️

facts dude. the way our store is set up has our warming station all the way across from the bar area. mfs be like “can you check if my mobile is ready?” meanwhile i have a million food items to get through. fuck am i supposed to say?? yes ofc let me go check for you :)

- people who don’t specify if they want cream/say no when i ask them and then say that they do want cream when i give them their drink like ..
- SEPARATE ORDERS IN THE DT. JUST COME IN THE CAFE. OR VENMO. especially if it’s separate orders for two drinks. like no. 💀

People who want us to operate on their food during peak. Like cutting a sandwich or cookie in half or sandwiches double toasted opened faced “just so the bacon gets extra crispy.”

I've started saying "oatmeal" we get this mistake so often at our store. 🤦🤦🤦
I also have caught myself saying "Mochy Cookie Crumble" because of customers messing it up so often and it kills me when I do it. 😐

When people know they want to order an ice water with their drink but wait until they have their drink in hand to ask for it. :)
People interrupting me mid convo at the register to give them sugars or add more cream/milk/whatever to their coffee despite the fact it was VERY OBVIOUS I was taking someone’s order.
People asking for light milk in their drink and expecting a latte.
Being asked when at bar where their food is, despite them knowing I haven’t moved from my spot in the last 15+ minutes.
I’ve only been here 2 months and sometimes it feels like 2 years. 🥴

at my store we tried asking people to order water at the register/at the dto box but they just got very snarky about it. i genuinely can’t stand our customers sometimes…they’re just too self centered lol

Yeah like we ran out of oatmilk a few weeks ago and other partners on bar were just subbing almond and soy milk without checking preference and it’s like what if someone has an allergy?
I can understand the redundancy gets annoying but it’s just part of the job. Also unless all they’re getting is water and they’re in the drive through during peak, I really don’t care about the water. It’s simple enough to grab. Better that than another shaken drink or frapp.
