Accidentally swore at a customer(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by dontknowhowtowalk
First of all I feel absolutely awful. I was on DTO at the moment, and was having a conversation with another partner. So a car pulls up, it’s a nice lady and I take her order. Immediately after I go back to my coworker and go “BITCH” to him, which was completely Outside instead of inside just between partners. Absolutely mortifying. So I’m freaking out cause I just swore at a customer while my coworkers are dying laughing. She pulls around while my SSV gives her her drinks. Then they have a conversation kinda like this: Customer: so who was I talking to before? SSV: oh that was another partner, she was completely not talking to you, I’m so sorry you had to hear that. I didn’t want to bring it up and cause unnecessary conflict because we weren’t sure if you had heard, but no she was talking with another partner So the customer seems kind of confused but mostly not mad, didn’t ask for my name. She leaves, I feel terrible for the rest of the night :)

one time my old shift supervisor (i miss him every day) was on DTO and he was going through it that day, he meant to speak through the partners only channel but was still live and says “*heavy sigh* fucking shit, i hate it here”. Luckily the person still at the DTO was a chill person and goes “hey man ive been there before.”

earlier today someone was like “theres no line? is there something wrong with this store that i should know about?” (we’re usually pretty busy, especially in our district) and id had a rough day and replied with a long sigh and “i ask myself that every time i clock in. getting anything?” coworkers laughed, the guy laughed, im dying inside

😂 😂 😂 I'm in bed reading this and started cracking up. Great answer, I'm using it next time someone makes a similar comment in our store in the same situation.
