i just started going over my barista trainer things with my SM today, and for the rest of the month ill be touching up on my skills and working on the training for the trainees, yall got any word of advice? :)

i started narrating what i was doing in making drinks and taking orders etc in my head before training my first person so i felt like i knew for sure how to explain what i was doing and how i was doing it. it was really helpful for me!

Been working for Starbucks for a few months now and my trainer was AWESOME. I nominated her for partner of the quarter. She got to know me and my interests and related some of what she was training me with to that.

One thing I found helpful is to remember that everyone you train learns differently, so some partners I had to explain the drinks more and some partners I had to show how to make the drinks more. Hope that helps! Training new baristas is so fun I hope you enjoy it!!

word, my sm actually made me take a learning styles quiz so im gonna input that into whenever i get a trainee
