question about shift coverage(self.starbucksbaristas)

so i put up a shift of mine on the marketplace for someone to cover it. I saw later that the schedule for me changed to having no shift that day anymore, however, there was a new shift offer with the same shift as i just put up (same time and everything). Now i’m not sure who picked up my shift and i’m worried that no one is gonna be there to cover it since the same shift is up on the marketplace again. And I fear that since i’m on the printed daily schedule I’m gonna get a call from the ssv asking where I am although it’s not my shift anymore. Am I responsible/obligated to go in if no one ends up going in? It’s an opening shift so that’s why im worried about it.

The best thing in this type of situation is communication. We could answer but ever SM/SSV is different so I would communicate to someone that this happened. I assume they’ll tell you that you need to come in if it doesn’t get picked up.

Technically once someone else takes the shift it’s their responsibility now, but confirm with your store manager for sure as they might have different expectations.
