emptying out 401k instead of cup fund (self.starbucksbaristas)

has anyone gone thru the process and emptying out their 401k bc i am drowning with how bad hours a cut on top of I had to take a couple weeks off bc i was hospitalized. i'm waiting for the disability pay to work out for the short term LOA but i am accruing so much debt bc of how bad income has been!

Yes-not from Starbucks but from another company. It took about 3 weeks to complete the process and almost 50%was taxed. I’d avoid it if you can.

I did a loan with mine recently. You can lay out a plan to repay it. Don’t just take it outright you will lose most of it. Do a loan if you must But you can only take half of what’s in there.
