Do we get paid extra on Easter? A partner/barista told me we do but my SM said we don’t. Easter is a Christian holiday technically but the partner said its considered a national holiday so we do get paid.

According to my sm, no. We're aren't getting time and a half for Easter. You're barista friend may have heard incorrectly or assumed since it's a holiday, we'd get holiday pay. Unfortunately, we do not.

I am in Canada and evidently Good Friday (but not Easter Sunday or monday) is a stat holiday.
