I just called and spoke to someone. Checks will be sent out this Friday via mail and everyone should receive their checks in 7-10 days or less.

Just spoke with a Rust rep and she stated they have a distribution date of Aug 19, 2022. She said it’s unlikely they go out prior to that date.

Just in case anyone else is still waiting for their check, don't feel alone, I have yet to get mine as well. I was a partner from 2008-2016. My numbers were 1559707.

If nobody receives a check or have a notification via USPS Informed Delivery that a check is coming, I recommend calling on Friday. For all we know, the checks are in some mailroom at the settlement company, Rust, because some person decided to leave early on Friday.

Just spoke with Fiona at Rust and she said they’re the 3rd party handling the settlement. She said the EEOC and Starbucks are doing some reviews of payees this week and once they approve that it’s from the approval date. They will send out the checks but that has a 30 day time frame on it. Smells like Starbucks has a lot to do with the delay in this. Just giving you the update I received. Please if anyone has any more info tap in.

Still nothing even though Informed Delivery says my check was supposed to be delivered on Friday. Then I go to the post office and they keep saying it can take 7 days for something on Informed Delivery to be in the mailbox. I called the settlement administrator and you can call for the check to be reissued on Friday 9/2 but it will take 4-6 weeks for the check to be reissued. I really needed that money 2 months ago. I need brakes! I’m beyond over it at this point

Does anybody know how the amount was calculated? I think it was the number of hours you worked for the time period. Then times the differential between barista and shift supervisor. Since I moved from a higher wage market to a lower one, they never adjusted my pay rate.

I just called and they told me that once the final list of payees has been approved, checks will be mailed 30 days after that date. When I asked if they know when that will happen, she said she had no idea. And when I asked if they would send notice of this approval, she said she didn’t know.

Just as an FYI, I received my check on Saturday, about 15.00 more than what was expected (after taxes). Deposited the check into my bank account with Chase and there is a hold on the check for like over a week. Should have just taken the check to the bank it was issued from. So just a heads up, to avoid any possible delay, cash the check with the issuing bank.

I called partner services in Seattle and they verified that it was legit. Take it for what it is. Give them a call and make sure they give you the same info that’s in the email. I hated putting my social in but I felt better after talking to someone from corporate.
