see i would assume they’re ordering it for their dog or something but still… $5 for a sausage lmao
Puddle_Duck88 7 points 1y ago
This was my thought as well. I always order the sandwich without anything but the meat at restaurants for my dog. Wendy’s gives me all the toppings on the side no matter how many times I tell them I don’t want them, just the hamburger for my dog
Able_Ad2652 6 points 1y ago
I used to work at Wendy’s.. order something like a hamburger plain no bun. Unless that’s what you already do. Sometimes like all food workers we only hear key words like no bun and the sandwich maker would rather have the toppings to the side even if you don’t want them rather than them have to set up the toppings outside of the sandwich queue when the customer says they wanted them.

I literally ask for “a small plain hamburger without the bun or anything because it’s for my dog” and they put it in a plastic container with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles so I have to pick them off before giving it to her

Sarah… the patty is not worth $6 …
Teftthebridgeman 31 points 1y ago
I think someone else posted something similar the other day,

Fools and their money....
caitlin_marie_gg 26 points 1y ago
its cheaper to get a bag of sausage patties from the store
vandilor 20 points 1y ago
homie just pull it apart yourself
Haunting-Sink3063 12 points 1y ago
Someone did this at my store last week with the impossible. Then they ordered a plain bagel and said they were using the impossible patty for the bagel. They wanted 2 patties, so we had to charge them for 2 impossibles and 1 plain bagel! Waste of money.

Do people not know grocery stores exist?
No_Advantage2853 2 points 1y ago
Waste of money but waste of food. A woman asked for an impossible but wanted to make it “vegan”. What’s more evil? Using animal products (cheese/egg) versus wasting food when so many are struggling?
lilkiosk 6 points 1y ago
And she already contributed to the animals’ suffering if she paid for it so wasting it is like a slap in the face I feel like? Idk. I’m not a vegan. Just a vegetarian trying to make it in this world.

official_koda_ 6 points 1y ago
There’s something called a grocery store where they can get a whole pack for the same price

The ask me is so fucking funny
clumsysilencee 4 points 1y ago
I sold one that was bread only once. “Just the bread? Are you sure?” “YES. GOD. JUST THE BREAD. I ONLY WANT THE BREAD!” “Ooooookay, we’ll have that at the window for you”

godmasterchampion 1 points 1y ago
Do you avoid bread and cheese for dietary reasons or is it just your preference?
SatanicPisces 2 points 1y ago
no just ever since i was little i’ve always like their sausage patties plain! but if i’m getting breakfast there i also will get a burrito and oatmeal or something too!
