Sometimes I would ask multiple times for their name or how to spell it and because of the music, coffee making noises, the plexi dividers, and masks on top of their mumbling it to me I would just give up and push it through with no name.

You also get any super inappropriate mobile order names? When I first got hired this mobile came in with the name "Big Dick Daddy." Some guy came in while we were still making it and waited and when we called out the drink instead of the name he asked (not in his inside voice) if that was the drink for Big Dick Daddy. Yes sir, and don't spill it getting into (what I imagine him to drive), an overly modified, needs rapunzel to throw down her hair to get into, lifted truck that is purely for show, just like the name on his cup.

Idk I feel like that’s really harsh. Mostly because I’m that person. I’m a partner now but I’ve been a customer and like it’s cool to be friendly but I’m not looking for a connection as a customer. I’m an introvert. I just wanna be able to get my order when you call it out so it doesn’t matter to me if you write Riley, Rylee, ryleigh. I’ll get it the same either way. I don’t even correct when they get my name wrong. If I say Rylee and they’re like “Ryan?” I just say yes and then listen for Ryan because it’s just not a big deal.
