i'm kinda confused because customers say no sweetener but we don't put sweeteners right

Iced coffees come standard with classic, iced teas do come unsweetened

iced teas used to come sweetened automatically but they changed it in like the last year i think? i still ask everyone if they want sweetener anyways

It depends on where you live.
In the US you don't add any sweetner to teas unless you are asked (I am unsure if the US puts any in iced coffee or not) . In Canada however, the standard recipe for iced teas and iced coffee includes sweetner. (Iced teas get liquid cane and iced coffee gets classic)
I am unsure about other countries though. Still, this may be way they ask. They may see recipes from other countries.

US used to sweeten teas but the company changed standard because so many customers were ordering with no sweetener. We do however, still sweeten the iced coffee .

Some customers are used to the old menu. Our iced coffee still gets sweetener but the iced teas don’t anymore. So they just say it just to say it. Normally u supposed to ask if they want milk and sugar in their coffee and if they want the tea sweetened.
