I had a transfer in the works to a much closer location, so the commute to work wouldn't be as difficult to make it in on time, but that ended up not happening. Even though tardiness was my official reason, some of my family members think that my SM may have also been intentionally screwing me over. Which is also plausible, considering I got in trouble recently for not showing up to a shift that I was assigned to cover when absolutely no one had had an actual conversation with me about it. I could go on about how our SM has caused scheduling issues for everyone, but it's not my business anymore. I'm just glad to be out. Hopefully I can work on my time blindness because I will own up to the fact that it is a real issue with me, and manipulative supervisors can very easily take advantage of that particular flaw.

I feel relieved more than anything now that I'm free 🖤

Sometimes we can't make a change we need to make, and can appreciate that somebody made the decision for us. Change is good.

It is. I feel a huge weight off my shoulders. I knew it was coming time for me for me to leave but I was dragging my feet. I know better things are on the horizon for me now!
