I’m not trying to claim my tips. I’m actually wondering the legality of requiring us to do something on a company computer when I am off the clock. Like if it’s required I do this work on the computer for my job why am I not being compensated…. If I had the option to claim them at home then that makes sense that they don’t have to pay us…

I’m not sure if the legality because you’re not doing work technically so doing it off the clock should be fine. I usually log them while I’m on my break in the back. You could ask your SM when would be the best time to log your tips.

My store has a WhatsApp and they share the tips distribution when it is counted out, I only have been able to claim them at work on a work computer. I’m trying to do it from home but I can’t find the option. Is this only something I can do at work?
