just as we were checking out close the other night one of my baristas opened a fridge and a full pitcher of vsc fell our, didn't take long to clean up but she was upset, vsc is the worst to clean 😂

We have a squeegee at my store. It is so helpful for these spills. Just push it into a drain and mop up the floor from there! I recommend mentioning it!

I’ve seen this happen enough that I always turn the VSC lid before putting it in the fridge. Yes, it probably annoys partners barring in a hurry but maybe saves a spill

I can't tell you how much I HATE when people put away pitchers OPEN. Because you know full well that is when whips shift, that damn rack decides to slide out, or the person grabbing the full pitcher tilts inward to pull it out and it all goes EVERYWHERE. AND YES, it is the biggest bitch to mop up, especially during the first rush (which around here only lasts, if we're lucky, from 6-8a) because of course what's the point of having a cleaning disaster in between rushes. 🤦😝

On one of my first shifts I was sweeping behind a fridge and when I pushed it back three sweet creams spilled in the fridge and were gushing out. And of course it had to be cleaned and so I also got the shame of opening the fridge.

We once were 5 minutes away from leaving and realized we forgot to make SA base so we were doing that and we dropped all 6 pitchers on the ground (our counter had a slight lean so when it was wet things would slide off) we got out about an hour late. Very very sad day

oh no crying in that situation is completely valid OP you did a good job, you ran peak with just a shift n a manager. only strong bad bitches can do that, so if you need to cry when the vsc falls then do it. remember boss makes a dollar we make a dime so always cry on company time

Imagine a whole toddy of it pouring out onto the floor because someone didn't push it back after getting sweet cream and the door got pressed up against the spout and all leaked on the floor in the back. Like im talking.....every. where.
