There was a time when Starbucks only had 2 sizes: short and tall. Then because Americans always want **more** a third size was added, Grande. Grande literally means “Large” in *Italian*. Later still, Venti was added, named so because the drink is 20oz. So in the context of a 4-size system, a Venti is literally a large—the largest coffee available in fact.
Also, “bar” refers to the surface upon which drinks are served, not just the drinks themselves. The kind of drink implied defaults to alcohol, however that is not a requirement. You can have a juice bar, a milk bar, and even an espresso bar.

Also, barista means bartender, so unless I can order a Long Island iced coffee stop calling yourselves that.
