Hi there, can anyone give me an estimate on what the cost of health insurance is for single and married (just spouse no kids)? I am looking into working part time for benefits but not sure if the benefits would be better there or at my current job. Thanks

I live in Pittsburgh, have a UPMC Gold Premier Plan, A top tier dental plan because I need some stuff done with my teeth, and an average vision plan. It’s just my daughter and I (my husbands employer pays 100% of his insurance) and I pay $140 a paycheck.

This isn’t an easily answered question. Each type of insurance (health, dental, vision) has their own tier with different options for each. It also depends on your area, I believe. It will depend on a lot of factors.
