I started working as a wee green bean way back in the day and left, came back, left again, and i just reapplied in hopes that i can trade my corporate salary for happiness. i know i’m going to be taking a huge pay cut but i’m MISERABLE at my current job and starbucks has been the steady bean that i cling to. i miss the culture, i miss working with an in person team, and i definitely miss the free food/drinks!

here’s to hoping that a store in my area actually needs someone with open availability and previous experience, and if everyone could send some good vibes my way i would appreciate it :)

I've been feeling the same way recently; 221\*\*\*\* number here...left to go into office/corporate stuff and it's the worst; totally soul draining. Starbucks is far from perfect, but something about the co-workers, the free drinks, the scheduling...idk, it's more dynamic and fun, in spite of the crap you have to deal with. Plus, if this unionization movement continues, things may actually get better working for the company!

i’m a 225**** :) i have also left, came back, left, came back. things are a lot different now!! honestly i love the job though, i found a really good store so i feel pretty lucky

i left a few months after the ultra caramel frap made its debut. i know a lot has changed since then but i’m hopeful i get the chance to relearn. glad you’re back and like your store!!!

I mean I don’t know about all that lol thankfully I am able to step back into a position that doesn’t necessarily pay well because I have a partner who also works full-time and we split bills. I definitely don’t think I would be happy if I were doing this on my own but I am thankful that I have the opportunity to do something i love with the person i love. but yeah starbucks is great.

Best of luck..it is a lot different now but it is a lot more toxic because of the pandemic everyone including customers are just nasty..keep a positive mindset, do your job, enjoy the days, and hopefully it works for the best for you 🙏

I was a 151…left after 7 years I now work for hms host Starbucks since Jan, it’s been fun ☺️ I haven’t been this happy at a job in a while. Good luck!
