So um…
I’m a shift. We have very heavy cold bar traffic in our store. How do you prepare and store backups of the strawberry açaí?
We have a curtis at the moment, but are looking for other possible (clean) methods. Do you just make a million backups a day or can we do this better?
Aha lemme know - springtime refreshers have us 🫣

omg woah… you have a curtis of SAR?? i am impressed, we usually do about 4 pitchers of it at open to get through peak and then our evenings aren’t very busy. but honestly a curtis of SAR is a great idea

We Have a SA curtis. Wish we had one for mango too.

Also have sar Curtis, just accept that the suffering is inevitable. But having someone on support able to make back ups the same way you make ice coffee when one cube empties is helpful you can.

Use a toddy

our store just switched to a toddy of SAR and a toddy of lemonade. We need both and go through them daily lol.

My only question, how would you get it out of the toddy?
Extreme_Income25393 points1y ago
You just put the same ratio of 1L to 1 box, we did 7 boxes. Then you put it on your cold brew rack, and pour it from the spout directly into whatever you keep your base in. Just like you’d pour cold brew that’s ready to use into the new keg

Technically we aren’t supposed to have a Curtis of anything except water. Lol. Best I can recommend is cubes, and empty them into the tea dispensers. You don’t have to wash them after every use, just wash them every night. Edited to add: if you’re looking for something more efficient or bigger than the Curtis, you’re not going to find it. Keep your head down and appreciate the Curtis while you can!

Coming from a store that uses a case and a half of SAR in 30 mins on the weekends. Prep your pitchers and prep cubes. On Saturdays We prep 6 sar pitchers plus 2 cubes and we refill the cubes because as we go in the day. It’s good for 72 hours. Just keep filling. Now we go a toddy of sar. We haven’t been told anything by the district manager so be careful in that
