I was at the Bemidji store, i hope they unionize too, would love to go back there some day as a customer but for now i cant in good conscience go to that store 😅

That’s great! I’m a partner at a neighboring city. Hadn’t heard of a local Starbucks looking to unionize. I’m hopeful of it spreading to other Starbucks.

I still don't understand their logic there. Even beyond all the reasons I think NFTs are dumb, what happened to Starbucks promoting sustainability? NFTs are SO INCREDIBLY BAD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

I would recommend contacting Starbucks workers united to help you out! The first step is talking to your coworkers to see who’s interested. If you have some support SBWU can send you union cards. Once 30% of your store has signed you can file, I would recommend getting closer to 60% of the store to sign because people can leave, Starbucks can hire more people, etc. The union will help you out every step of the way, good luck!

Unions are a way for workers to engage in collective bargaining so the people actually running the store get a say in how it’s run and their working conditions. The power balance in almost every employer-employee relationship is tragically in favor of employers. Unions help balance the power so employees can be treated fairly! I encourage you to do more research on unions and what they are (don’t take advice from strangers on the internet) but this is how I see it.
