Can someone please explain the best way to transfer, I thought you go to another store to make sure they have availability & then speak to you manager about it. Well I got a call from my manager saying I’m trying to “ go over her head “ because I contacted another store to see if they’re actually accepting transfers. Would love to go to a different store ASAP.

You tell your SM. You fill out the official transfer form together. Your SM sends it to the DM. DM sends it to DM of new district. You then reach out to stores or hope one just accepts you.

Generally yes. It might be to you or to your SM. The SMs will have to put everything through in the system, but the process isn’t hard.

That’s how you transfer. You’re fine. Would be a good idea to talk to your manager before you contact others so they know they’re going to get calls, but I’m sure it’s fine.

That’s how it always worked at my store. People find a store first, and then the paperwork is done.
