STORYYYY TIMMME- weird pedo crusty at that beginning of my career at the siren (self.starbucksbaristas)

this one should be sweet and simple but in the beginning of my job at starbucks, my store stayed open till around 10:30. it was a cafe store so two closers was the reg. i was 18 at the time, had medium length almost white blinde hair and braces. My other partner was a 6 foot tall, lanky man with brown hair and the most flamboyant personality ever. i still love him though i don’t work with him anymore.
Anyways, that sets the scene, just me and another partner about to start closing up the store when a really tall man, taller than my coworker, with long brown hair and a dead blank facial expression comes in. he immediately gives me the creeps so in my mind i think : faster i take his order = faster he’ll leave. He is staring unblinkingly down at me (i’m 5’7”) as i’m taking his order. not looking away the entire time. he just orders a venti black pike. i turn around to whip it up as fast i humanly can and i feel his eyes literally undressing me. i could feel his stare in my back and sure enough i turn back around and this
man is STILL not blinking and STILL STARING. LIKE AS IF HE KNEW ME.
he finally fucking blinks and goes “uhhh so you don’t have to answer this question but how old are you?”
i just stare at him, “i don’t want to answer that”
“okay, well how long have you had those braces in for” his face changed from expressionless to that face you see a lot on pedos in movies make when they’re clearly searching for that indication their prey is young.
all my suspicions were confirmed: “please leave, i’m not going to answer your weird questions”
surprisingly he just left but he did look back at me from outside the store.
a little funny add on tho: i told my coworker right after and he praised me for not giving any info then said i should’ve batted my eyelashes and said i was 14 while doing something to make him uncomfortable back like aggressively biting a cake pop. (also so he could get involved and have fun calling out a pedo)
all in all i’m glad none of our 16-17 year old partners were working that shift.
