Absolutely ridiculous.. First let's start with the fact that we have nothing that can fit 12 long shots. (We're not even supposed to use trentas for espresso drinks). Then decaf.. Why bother? It only goes downhill from there. 🤮

12 shots of decaf is about the same caffeine as a tall pike, so maybe thats why? Though based on the rest of the order, I would bet my last paycheck that he has no idea decaf still has caffeine.

Two possibilities:
1. He pressed decaf by accident because customers love to just hit buttons without knowing what they do, and he does in fact want 10 shots because he is Going Through Something.
2. He needs to take a big shit and he likes the taste of strong espresso but doesn’t want the caffeine jitters to distract him on the toilet.

There's actually just enough caffeine in decaf espresso that 12 shots is about the same as a tall pike. I wonder if Joseph is aware of this. Most people seem to think decaf means no caffeine at all.

I had someone order a venti iced americano no ice no water with 12 long shots. We had to put it in a Trenta cup and it filled it to the brim. Idk how these people order this crap he was probably in the bathroom for the rest of the day after that

Only somewhat related but we have someone every so often who mobile orders a grande americano, add water. how does that happen. what do they even think they’re ordering. americano, add water?? I sure hope so!! you don’t need to specify that you want water in it, the drink is just coffee and water… I wonder if it’s a weird way of trying to ask for extra water or what idk I’ve never interacted with the person who picks it up

I'm convinced that people ration the shots and add milk on their own accord. I use to have this customer that would come in and order two Ice vanilla lattes *with no ice* so he didn't have to make the trip to starbucks every morning.
