See if there’s a Starbucks closer to your house, you can ask for a transfer to that store as it’s closer to you, I noticed I also was taken off of bar a lot and got discouraged from it until I had more experience on bar around my 7ish month mark

Honestly it’s normal to be in drive thru a lot at first until you can prove yourself worthy on bar. I probably spent my first 6 months mainly in drive thru. Especially if you work mornings for peak, it’s normal. The only way to change that is to really make it clear to the shifts that you want to work on bar. Basically beg to be there.

The only setback here is I'm fairly certain you need to be employed or at your current store for at least 6 months before you can submit a transfer request.
