the Michigan starting rate is $12 I believe! I’m at $13.50 with almost two years as a barista. the shift pay in my area (Oakland county) is $15.24 or something close to that!

But you can also work with them to get a higher rate. I started in Nashville, and am back in Michigan. Nashville has a higher rate, so when I moved back here my sm managed to get me a higher rate closer the rate in Nashville.
