Are we allowed to sell a grande nitro in a venti cup with ice? My store used to do this and recently stopped but I’m not sure what is standard or what to tell customers when telling them I can’t beyond I’m sorry we can’t because thems the rules

Standard *says* We are not allowed to put Nitro CB in a Venti cup or larger because it effects the texture.
If they want ice then fill the Tall or Grande cup to the top line and add ice. Assuming they are gonna give you shit for it, then be like sorry thats the standard (*as stated above*). Stores will do it for some customers who are long time regulars but in honesty your not supposed to.

Do you know where I can find this on the store iPad? Thank you!

Most likely not on the iPad. You will definitely find it on Partner Hub.

So nitro infused cold brew accelerates the affects of caffeine to your system. That acceleration can affect your heart. The reason we don’t sell anything above a grande is because it’s a heart attack risk for customers with a weak heart.
Knowing that, Starbucks does not want us to even put a grande amount in a Venti cup because someone can go home, add water to make it look like they were served a Venti amount, and sue Starbucks for endangerment. In that case Starbucks would be coming for your butts trying to figure out who served it to the customer.
I do remember them saying all of this back when Nitro was launched in a weekly update but that’s gotta be… maybe 6 years ago now? Maybe 7?🤔

I vaguely remember hearing this too, but it’s not mentioned anywhere now, just that it’s a beverage quality thing.
I also remember them telling us when refreshers launched that they “have more caffeine than soda but less than an energy drink” and now they say less than a soda. So maybe Starbucks doesn’t have accurate information at launch? 😬

I’ve had partners tell me this before but I don’t think it’s true otherwise wouldn’t we have to give some warning to customers when selling a grande? I mean like if a venti could be a risk a grande could too. What if a customer buys 2 grandes and drinks them both? They could sue, they would have no idea it was a risk and no partner is trained to tell them that. It would be ridiculous for us to sell something so dangerous with no training on how dangerous it is.
