dress code for team meetings? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by OutlandishnessHead74
I have a team meeting coming up, and I work in the morning and the meeting is at night. I don't want to sit at work for the majority of the day, so i'll be going home and showering. I don't want to waste a work outfit on a team meeting🙄 so can I wear sweats and a tank with a jacket? and am I allowed to wear opened toe shoes? Like does dresscode apply at all? Maybe not total bum but just not work attire 😭

Technically it has to be dress code as we are on the clock for it. But at the end of the day it’s store manager to store manager.

I've shown up to a shift meeting with the DM with my nails painted and wearing my wedding rings and not a word was spoke to me about it, since it was technically my day off. They just thanked me for coming in.

Don’t listen to anyone here, ask your manager.
Technically since you will be on the clock you should be in dress code and some managers require that. Others don’t care. But you need to ask your manager, not us.

No there’s no dress code.

we just had a store meeting last night and some were kind of in dress code (meaning jeans & t shirt) and others quite literally had pj’s on. it depends on your SM

I didn’t dress in code, but it was my day off and I was coming in to have a meeting and then leave, so my SM didn’t care. (by out of dress code i mean that I wore joggers and a crewneck sweatshirt)

When we had ours, SM said dress code was required. But it’s at SM discretion.
