So when i was a barista, i mildly hated children ordering 8 grande ice waters but non the less i didn’t have to reprimand then when they were being loud and obnoxious and I appreciated the shifts who knew how to get them to calm down. Yesterday i became the shift that the other partners appreciate for kicking those obnoxious animals out of cafe without warning. Children literal CHILDREN smoking in the cafe - walked over and asked all 8 of them to grab their things and leave. Only to return to kicking out a group of 10 out for throwing water at each other and they had the audacity to look at me like i was wrong for asking them to leave. Moral of the story I loathe these dam kids.

Like middle school children 11-13/14. Smoking as in they pulled out a cigarette and lit it and smoked it

Instead of kicking those 10 kid's out, you should have went over with a mop and ask which of them want to be on cleaning duty as their mom do not work there. If no one volunteered, pick someone and hand them the mop. We are near high school and middle school, we been able to turn all of this kid's in to good customers. They all been forced to clean up after themselves enough time that they no longer acting out or making a mess. Remember school officials are your friends, if you let them know what is going on and who is doing, they will get disciplined
Edit: the ones smoking is more serious but I might have acted as a parents and went over with water and told them put cigarette in the cup.

I fill them in the sink with hot water and then add ice. The looks on their faces 👀😏😉

My store is across from a middle school and every week day around 3 they come rushing in in groups and it’s a whole ordeal. Everyone at my store hates it because they are obnoxious and very rude. We have to set up around 12-15 ice waters before just to get them out as soon as possible lol. My SM even banned one who was stealing other peoples drinks

Your manager needs to take control of the situation. If they don't behave they do not get water and you tell them to get out. Also talk to school officials, they should be able to make an announcement at school. Basically lay down the law, as long as one is consistent they will either follow the rules or find another place to hangout.
