stocks: so i’ve been working for the company since jan 2021 and j have the letter about my bean stock. it says I got them in december 21 and it says “vest date is nov 10th to get the first half” so if I am not working by that time , I don’t get the stocks? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Correct. You claim your stock November 2021. Half vests November 2022. The other half vests November 2023.
This November you’ll claim your next round. Half will vest November 2023. The other half will vest 2024.
The goal is to encourage people to stay. No reward unless you stay longer.

It definitely sucks. However, 401K funds included match do vest immediately, so if you’re ever looking to contribute to retirement, get that extra cash from them.
