Are we for sure getting a raise this summer? (self.starbucksbaristas)

When I was hired a couple months ago my boss told me we were for sure going up to 15 an hour in may. But now my fellow partners told me that they have been saying that for a while and they’re not sure it’s even going to happen. Opinions?

I've heard June and July. Apparently my DM told one of my SSVs June. But tbh I don't trust it since we haven't officially heard anything yet.
Edit: for my district, it'll be a $3 raise, since our min is $12 rn so to have that big a raise and no idea when it's coming yet... seems sketch to me.

My question is, if we are in an area with starting pay already at $15 will we still see an increase? $15/hr when gas is $6 is absolutely impossible.

Starbucks announced last year that as of summer 2022 the minimum for all baristas, regardless of area, will be $15. and SSVs will be like 20% above that? i dont rmr the exact number tbh. And then from my understanding depending on area will be higher than that, but will never be lower than that. we’ll see if they actually keep their word though, i don’t have too much faith tbh.

SSVs are 27% above that. Tenure added before the 27% I believe is 5% for 2-5 year partners, 10% for 5-10 year partners, and 15% for 10 years+

My manager said September :( honest to god if it takes that long I’ll quit- the only thing stopping me is the lack of jobs in my area

Yes. It’s based on area, my area got them in January. It’s being rolled out in increments.

i asked my manager and he said he heard july. but he said sometime this week they’re supposed to make a “big announcement” about pay and benefits apparently so idk
