Customer tells me I made a standard drink wrong. (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Narrow_Sandwitch
Okay so I no longer work at Starbucks! Just got a job at a local coffee shop. But anyways. We were mid peak when these few ladies came in. I think it was a mom and some daughters, but one of the daughters ordered a caramel ribbon crunch frappuccino, I made it and handed it out. A few minutes later she comes back and says I made it wrong and that there shouldn't be whip at the bottom. I said well that's how it comes standard. Then her daughter said "well all I'm getting is whip cream when I'm drinking it" And then the mom said "the store That's closest to my home, they don't put whip at the bottom" so I was like whatever and remade it. I told my shift about it and he said "why didn't she just pull the straw up🤦" I wish once I could have just said to a customer "well if you know so much why don't you come back here and show me" lol but those days are over for me!

Lol i would have pulled out the recipe card and showed it right to her lmao these people dont think for a second that maybe tHe OtHeR sToRe didnt make it correctly or maybe they just got a caramel frapp or something similar at the other store. Its automatically frustration pit on the person serving them. Thats annoying. I would totally have pulled out the recipe card to show them and anything else after that thats not an apology from them would just be because theyre embarrassed at the fact that they made themselves look like a fool

Yes. All you're getting when you sip is whipped cream. That's the fucking point.
