I honestly don’t mind making special cold foams that much. The only time it sucks is when it’s peak and it makes it impossible to batch blend.
The thing that actually pisses me off?
“And I want *the strawberry foam*—“
THERE IS NO “THE STRAWBERRY FOAM.” JUST SAY FOAM WITH STRAWBERRY ADDED.
“Give me *the mocha foam*—“
IT’S VSCCF WITH MOCHA ADDED. PLEASE.
Something about it grinds my gears so much. I know it’s stupid. But god. I think it’s because those interactions go like this:
Customer: Can I have a venti pink drink with the strawberry foam?
Me: Sure, a venti pink drink with sweet cream foam, and you want strawberry puree in the foam? No problem, give me a second to type in the foam customization! :)
Customer: YEAH SO ALSO I WANT A TALL HOT CARAMEL MACCHIATO AND A VENTI WATER AND
Like I try SO HARD to get across that it’s difficult to type that shit in and it’s not just “strawberry foam” etc so that they give me a fucking millisecond to type but people are DENSE

Sometimes I say “Let me check and see if we have/can do that” to give me time to type it in. Also, if the customer is rude then I play dumb like I don’t know what strawberry foam is.

I wish there was a button for it bc so many ppl want it. Ik I can put it in ask me but it would be nice for it to read “strawberry in VSCF” not
