Lol I just want to feel good and be strongly considered.. as a sort of validation of my dedication I guess. Whether or not I’d take the next step to ASM.. depends on the current status of things.
My SM though mentioned showing excellent dedication to growing fellow partners and being able to express your process and how it made a difference for that partner.
Also, being present and maintaining good attendance, keeping your shifts as scheduled without unnecessary trading, effective coaching, effective play deployment, going above and beyond overall.
One SSV is primarily a AM shift. He’s always on top of our metrics, drive times, sets and reaches goals with the floor he has on hand, organizes training, maintains inventory, and is constant communication with our SM.
He is openly pursuing a ASM position.
As for me, I am passionate about partner and customer connection, teaching partners how to value their positions on our team, being an advocate for partners, organizing the store, deep cleans/clean play, driving our goals for times at the window, curating efficiency in our processes, developing tools for quick and easy access.. my SM tells me he is watching me for ASM but sometimes I feel like it’s just all talk and bait to do more.
Who knows.. I have mixed feelings but hope this helps you on your journey to growth!
