I would recommend not overfilling them, because if you do the machine doesn't care it will drop all of the cold brew.

Also make sure that your cubes are pushed all the way to the back of the brewer.

There are also other factors such as the bag ripping or pulling the cubes out too quickly causing the cold brew to spill.

Edit: As a tip to make sure your dont over water I would reccomend using a chalk marker to keep track of how many times you've watered it.

e.g. XXXX = 3.5L poured 4 times (3.5 x 4 = 14)

To avoid this in the future, stop using the brewer. This is the 5th time!

We put 13 liters of water instead of 14. 14 seemed to overflow often but so far since we dropped it to 13 liters of water we haven't had an issue and it hasn't affected the taste

This happened for me last year bc someone left the full cubes in the bottom and dropped more cold brew on top of them
